How i prepared the water and introduce my fish

I cooked water and let it stand over night. Then I fulled up the thank till it was half full. The fish was introduce by putting the bag with it in the prepared water. After five min I opened the bag and let the water slowly out, that fulled the rest of the tank and free the fish in its new environment. My betta was swimming around and i could see its checking out her new enviroment. I feed my fish every day at five and clean the tank on monday's and thursday's by removeing about 10% of water each time.
