The observations made in the practical of all the tanks in the lab ad the following results:

Visual observations in each tank


TANK A
  • Temperature: 28 degrees
  • There is an air pump
  • There are different plant species
  • The water is clear
  • There is a UV light
  • There is a mechanical filter
  • the surface is clear of floating medium
 TANK B
  • Temperature: 25 degrees
  • There is an air pump
  • There is algae growth on the rocks and leaves in the tank
  • There is an LED light
  • Mechanical filtration (Box filter)
  • There is floatimg algae and also floating plants resembling lily pads.
  • There is clear vegetation in the tank
  • There are a few snails.
TANK C
  • Temperature: 28 degrees
  • There is abundant plant life, even floating
  • There is a lot of algae in the tank
  • There are many snails 
  • There are many fish 
The best tank, overall, is tank C and the worst is tank A.
