when i first recieved my betta fish i let float in its original bag (plastic bag) to allow it time for the temparature. After couple of days ireleased it to the new tank, i was restless and seem so tired. At first it seems as if it was sick, but that shows the way of adapting to the new environment. It spent the first few day trying to explore its tank and water environment. My betta fish acted strangely after it was introduced to the new tank, but after some time things went differently. It was active, adorable and well behaing. Killa swims around the tank and digs through soil substrates at the bottom of the tank. The fish has not been sick, actually it does not look sick through my observations.
yesterday me and my partner we chanded the water for our fish for the 4th and we notice that our is still happy and still energetic as alwys although last we were much concered about the behaviour because it seems like the fish did not want to eat the food but since the beggining of this week the fish is eating the food but now the problem that we notice is that is the fish grow bigger in size it finds a bit difficult to move around the tank since it seems a bit smaller so i suggest that maybe next they can but bigger fish tanks so that the fish can be able to move freely
Me and stallion have a bound together because when i am feeding him he tends to move towards the top of the tank.In the last few weeks i changed the diet of the fish from dry food that we were given to the floating beta fish food. What i have observed is the first 4 days the fish refused to eat the floating fish food but after it adapted to the food.
When it comes to water changes hectic process to do. I usually change about 20-25% of the water every week. Last week i drained all of the water in the tank and moved stallion into a different container where i kept him for about 30 minutes. In the other container i poured the same water that was in the tank so stallion can adapt. I noticed while cleaning the tank the amount of algae has increased in the bottom of the tank. when i filled the tank with the new water the water was cloudy. I feel like stallion has been stressed during this process.
There has been a tremendous development with the plant since i added growth sticks. The overall growth of the plant has improved and the leafs have started to grow to its normal condition which is good. What i have noticed is uneaten food tends to sink towards the bottom of the tank and some sort of fungus is growing in the substrates but i think it will help in the development of the plant

Fluffy. Our happy chappy
Our fish, Fluffy is doing well. We are going to do a water change soon, because the leaves have started to have a brown residue. It is surprisingly removable.
We are going to add the Zeolites, this weekend after the water change, I am pretty sure they will remain they will remain the same color because we take care of Fluff's home.
louis
Hey guys me and my partner had decided to change our fish water every end of each week. we also change the food we feed him, we bought him some dried flakes from our local animal shop, we also contribute some water conditioner to keep our water clean. our plant is not in a good condition at this stage but we are going to cut off the leaves so that new ones can grow up, we also observed that in the morning he is at the top of the plant at top of the water. The reason why Louis is always at the top of the water is water temperature that changes during the night. Louis is a crowned tale fish which is very aggressive as we feed. My partner and i going to change Louis's feed time just ti see how he would react in the water if we don't feed him.
When Fighter was first introduced into he's new environment he first
showed signs of stress by swimming up and down the sides of the tank.
Also the first time i fed him he never ate the food but instead he spat
the food out again. These were all signs of stress most probably caused
from travelling and changing environments. Fighter just needed some time
to adapt to his new home. After a few days fighter seemed to be much
more relaxed. He also started eating his food. I fed him every evening
at about 7pm and he seemed to have gotten use to this because around
that time when I place my hand above the water surface,he comes to the
top of the water because he knows its time to eat.
I have noticed that fighter is quite fond of swimming to the surface of the water and breathing air. This is due to the labyrinth organ that betta fish have which allows them to breathe air at the waters surface. Also I have noticed that fighter likes swimming around the plant and most mornings I see him around plant which means he probably likes to sleep there and feels safe and secure there.
When I first got fighter he was light purple in colour and I have observed how his colour has changed. His colour got darker and is now a slightly darker purple. This could simply be because of how he has grown and his colour has deepened with age. Something I have noticed about fighter is that he seems to like looking at his reflection. I'm not sure if he thinks its another fish but he likes flaring and often swims vigourously around when sees his reflection. This could be a sign of aggression.
After changing fighters water I have noticed that he shows quite a lot of gill movement. This could be because he is stressed or startled by the movement of the water change.I change the water about once a week to prevent fighter from getting any possible diseases. Overall fighter is currently in healthy condition, hopefully he will stay that way. More updates coming soon
