The day that I recieved "DJ" in one of the practicals I got him in a plastic bag filled with water. I new that the water temperatures in the jar and plastic bag were very different and that is why I first put the plastic bag as is, with my fish in it, in the jar with my water, substrate and plant. I did this so that the water in the jar could slowly but surely either increase or decrease the water temperature in the bag, so that the fish could get use to the temperature in the jar, in which it will spend the next few months of its life, depending on wheather or not I decide to change its environment in anyway.
