The water was prepared 24hours before the female betta was introduced to it. When we recieved the fish it was light grey in colour. The fish was then introduced to its new environment a nd adapted after a few hours. We then fed the fish and it ate immediately without any hesitation. The indian almond leaf placed in the tank and floated on top of the water, it also changed the colour of the water, we then did a 30% water change. The tank was left for a few hours and when checked up on again the indian almond leaf had sinked to the bottom of the tank, it also provided a resting place for the fish.
