While my fish was still inside the plastic bag it was swimming around quite a lot. I left the bag floating in the tank and when i finally released my fish it stopped swimming around quite so much. I placed the tank on my desk away from direct sunlight. On the first night when i tried feeding her I noticed that she didn't eat at all and was still very inactive. She just floated around the bottom of the tank, only occasionally coming to the surface. I became quite worried about her, but then I realised that she probably just needed to adjust more to her new environment.
