with all the information i have learnt over the past weeks i did a water quality check in my own aquarium and these were my findings
NO3: 0
NO2: 0
GH: >10d
KH: 6d
pH:6.4

based on this it is clear that the water in my tank is fairly hard and maybe this could be the reason why my plant is not doing well in my tank. recently i have put off the filter of my tank to see what happens and i have discovered that the water then needs to be changed frequently because there is no filtration system that will absorb the unwanted waste.it's amazing how changing one thing in your tank can make a lot of changes in the tank, but that's how we learn and i can say i have learnt quite a lot
