Tank analysis

GROUP 4
MY ANALYSIS
TANK A
There were very few snails and tank A had the most fish ranging from small, medium and large. The fish also had lots of variation. There were some algae on the glass of the tank, but it is the biggest tank so it has a algae remover in the form of a magnetic duster. There were also large rocks that looked like gravel. The plants were a moderate amount but large in size. The temperature of the tank was 27-28 degrees. The filter looked like a under gravel filter.

TANK B
The water condition of tank B was murky and brown, with plants floating on top. There was a moderate amount of snails. The temperature of the water was 25 degrees with a mechanical box filter. There was a small amount of fish in the tank and they had these colour stripes on them. There was some algae in the tank. The tank also had a heater with stones at the bottom.

TANK C
Tank C had lots of plants with a big piece of wood and lots of snails. The tank also had black substrate with green algae in the soil. The temperature of the tank was 29 degrees. The tank also seemed to have a built in filter, and the water looked like it was cleaned more regularly. There was a moderate amount of fish, ones with stripes and two toned fish.

WORST: A                                                                       BEST:C

In conclusion tank C had to be the best because it had the most maintenance with a water change every week. Tank B had less water changes but  the floating vegetation took up most of the nitrates. Tank A was expected to be the worst because it had no water changes and the most fish which creates more waste.
