Quite alot of people said their fish didn't stress as well from this years group but i take it that the plant provides a hiding space for the fish which calms it down quite a bit.
Last years group may have executed more care when changing the water, or perhaps used different equipment to change the water? I believe that if a pipe was used to siphon the water from the tank, the amount of water disturbance could be drastically reduced! The plant also experiences stress during the water change and I have noticed a few tears in the leaves from the scoop.
